Clinics on Request:

I have lots of request for clinics and lessons. I do what I do to help horses and working with horses alone, does not help the horse in the long term. I think the owner or handler has to be taught how to understand the horse and work out things long term rather than me just training the horse. Clinics are a good way to demonstrate, improve horse relationships and help people understand horses better. If you watch my videos you know I would rather work with horses over people, my direct style is offensive to some, so people need to know what to expect.
CLINICS:
I will to do clinics when requested, but you have to convince me why. If you would like a clinic and are willing to sponsor it, meaning you do all the planning, email me with your request and if we can see if we schedule it, we will make it happen.
Clinics will be directed to what you want them to be, general horsemanship, understand horses, problem solving, trail riding, sacking out, colt starting, trailer loading or other special request. I am not here to convince people, so reading my site and viewing my videos is a good way to see what you will get.
Things to consider before requesting a clinic:
-
Hours per day (morning only, afternoon only, 7-3, 9-6)
-
How many days (one day, two days, one and a half days)
-
Number of people (how many can the facility handle)
-
Horses and riders or lecture, questions and demonstration
-
Time of year (heat, rain, indoor or outdoor)
Price is negotiable depending on location, travel, time and other factors. Not doing this to get rich so fees are reasonable and if it is related to charity, helping kids, helping horses or helping non-profits, we will work something out.
LESSONS:
I think lessons do not make good riders, periodic lesson to help get you on track, move forward or get over a tough spot can help, but I do not like getting into long term lessons. I will do them if convinced it will help the horse. I will give two or more rider discounts and two or more hour discounts. Again, travel distance and time will be a factor.
