I have lots of request for clinics and lessons. I do this to help horses and working with horses alone does help the horse in the long term. I think the owner or handler has to be taught how to understand the horse and work out things long term rather than me just training the horse. Clinics are a good way to demonstrate, improve horse relationships and help people understand horses better.
CLINICS:
I will to do clinics when requested. If you would like a clinic and are willing to sponsor it, email me with your request and if we can schedule it, we can make it happen.
Clinics will be directed to what you want them to be, general horsemanship, understand horses, problem solving, trail riding, sacking out, colt starting, trailer loading or other special request.
Things to consider before requesting a clinic:
Price is negotiable depending on location, travel, time and other factors. Not doing this to get rich so fees are reasonable and if it is related to charity, helping kids or helping non-profits, we will work something out.
LESSONS:
I think lessons do not make good riders, periodic lesson to help get you on track, move forward or get over a tough spot can help, but I do not like getting into long term lessons. I will do them if convinced it will help the horse. I will give two or more rider discounts and two or more hour discounts. Again, travel distance and time will be a factor.
